The Chosen is a historical drama television series that portrays the life and ministry of Jesus through the eyes of the people who encountered him, such as the apostles, religious leaders, and ordinary people. Set in 1st-century Judaea and Galilee, the series is known for giving a down-to-earth and relatable portrayal of Jesus and his disciples, exploring their backstories and interactions in a multi-season format.
We are going to pilot an evening bible study group at the church using the materials and videos from this TV series. The first session viewing episode one, series one and using the accompanying reflection questions in the study guide will be held on Tuesday November 18th at 7:00pm in the middle lounge and finishing at 9pm.
Coffee and tea will be available on arrival. We will either meet weekly or biweekly depending on what participants would like to do.
Robert would like to know who is intending to come so that he get an idea of numbers to see if it will viable.
